Review Details

This interactive brush is a big hit with my cats, Fritz and Jazz.

For the most part, this item is well designed. The base is large and heavy enough to prevent it from toppling over with use. The carpeting on the base is nice quality and has not deteriorated or become unattached with use. The bristles are a stiff plastic that have held up extremely well. There is a cut out under the base where you can put some catnip, but I haven't used this feature; my cats like it just fine without. I have had this item for several years and it's been a great purchase.

My cats both enjoy rubbing themselves against the arch of bristles. I don't really see them clawing the carpeted base, which would be another way to have fun with this. They especially like having some bristle time right before catnapping. Since I travel a lot, this gives them a chance for some comfort brushing even when Mom is not around.

My only complaint about this item is that the brush arch sometimes comes out of it's holes and I get home to find the brush on the floor and I have to put it back together. But this is a small price to pay for the amount of enjoyment this brush has given my cats. This is a great item to have around the house for your cats, especially if you are away a lot.
