When I first got my kitten, he was infected with fleas from the Humane Society I got him from (not surprising). They told me that they used Frontline on him however, so I contacted my vet and discussed the situation. Since my other cat was never exposed to fleas, he had an allergic reaction to them. My vet suggested using Revolution on both instead of the Front Line.. Within a few days (I swaer it was more like overnight) the fleas went away! My oldest was back to his normal self, and the youngest did not have any side effects! This stuff is amazing!! It's the only product I will use on my kitties!

I too have 4 cats and 2 dogs. 2 cats are indoor only, and 2 are indoor/outdoor. Meanwhile, both dogs are indoor dogs too. 2 of my 4 cats also have displayed adverse side effects from the Frontline. One goes crazy and runs all over the place until I washed it off of her, and the other has developed contact dermatitis and became red and inflamed at the application site. Also, he then licked all his hair in that area off. NOT good. So...on to Revolution I too go, and that it contains a heartworm preventative is also nice since the Heartguard for my dogs, which is only Ivermectin, like I tube paste my horse with for under $10.00, is just way too expensive. A fine display of the ultimate Big business rip-off, of those who actually care about their pet's well-being.
