Because our cats are strictly indoors, we do not use Frontline monthly. We use it just a few times a year, but it seems to be effective. At the first sign of fleas, everyone gets a dose, and we don't have to worry for awhile. The cats hate the smell and their fur is oily for several days, but it if works, it works.
