Pros: High Protein; No By-Products; Grain-Free
Cons: Expensive (Almost $5.00 Per Pound); Some Cats Did NOT Like It
I was hoping my cats would be attracted to this "more meat", no-grain, "core" product, but it got mixed results. KeyZo did like it, but Zac walked away from it. Skizzy ate a little, but mostly "picked" at it.
Deboned turkey and deboned chicken are the first two ingredients, and that sounded like something all my cats would like. I was attracted to the "grain-free" feature and this food's apparent higher quality than most. Why my cats didn't find this food tasty is questionable.
The $9.49 price for a TWO pound bag is on the expensive side. IF my cats LOVED it, I would continue to buy it. But, so far, only KeyZo finds the Wellness Core "okay". Skizzy did eat some, but the amount was rather small.
