My cat, Basil was recently diagnosed as diabetic, and the vet prescribed Purina DM for him. I was a little apprehensive about changing his food and afraid he wouldn't like it. He LOVES it. His blood glucose has stayed stable on a low dose of insulin and keeping him on this diet will be no problem.
Pros: My cat loves it
Cons: Expensive

My diabetic cat loves the taste of this food and he did well on it. I haven't used it long term but have no complaints on it. Our rescue group gets some of it donated fairly often so I continue to use it on and off. I use Innove EVO dry to go along with the DM. Only problem is keeping my other cats away from the DM when I am feeding Charlie.
Pros: cats love, helps control diabetes
Cons: prescription, price

Fun to play with but doesn't last through chewing

I bough this toy to play Tug o' War with my 1-1/2 years old Yorkie. We had a lot of fun but my dog chewed through the fabric that hold the rings together. So now we have 3 separated rings.
