I have been using this product (which comes in a blue bag) for more than a year and all of my 13 cats have prospered on it. My vet says that it is a perfectly good food & since my 2 overweight cats have lost weight on it, he has advised me to continue. My thinner cats have gained weight and all of the others have maintained their weight. They all have less trouble with hairballs & all of their coats have gotten shinier & healthier looking. Also, we have cats ranging in age from 2 to 12 years old. They seem to need less of this food to be full than others I have tried.
None of them will eat anything else & now even our feral outside cats don't want to eat anything else.
The AAFCO certifies that this provides "complete & balanced nutrition for all life stages of the cat". Here is the GUARANTEED ANALYSIS of the food:
Crude Protein, not less than........................31.50%
Crude Fat, not less than..............................11.50%
Crude Fiber, not more than............................4.50%
Moisture, not more than...............................12.00%
Linoleic Acid, not less than.............................1.25%

I have tried many different foods & this has been the best by far for the price. Because we have so many indoor cats & 12 plus feral strays that we feed daily, this has been real Godsend! The price for a 40 lb bag is approximately $18.00 including tax.
It is available at all Tractor Supply Company (TSC) stores. Try it and judge for yourself!!! I think you & your cats will be glad that you did!
