You have commented negatively on Meow Mix, saying that it is bad nutrition....Why do you say that? Did your cats get fat? Are you sure it was from the food? If you do not like Meow Mix, what else would you recommend to someone who feeds their cat this product?

Yes our cat was 16 pounds. Vet indicated the filler wouldn't digest, and that we needed to find a food with more real protein content.

Look at the label, and make sure the first 2-3 ingredients are not corn, rice, or wheat type. The first ingredients should be real meat. Not animal by-products. Our vet recommended Purina One.
