Hey hey! Grain-free food for carnivores! Here are the top ingredients:
Chicken Meal, Potatoes, Canola Oil, Chicken, Natural Chicken Flavor, Salmon Oil, Ocean Fish Meal....
Carnivores don't really need carbohydrates that, here, come from potatoes. But they have to use something bind the kibble and also boost nutrition without using 100% meat.
Chicken meal as the first ingredients is great! The chicken farther down the list is weighed with the moisture still in it, before the processing drives it out. So it's not as helpful as it might seem.
And the fish meal is down where it's not contributing all that much.
I'd rather see carnivore feed without the chicory root, parsley, blueberries, cranberries, carrots, and broccoli.
Adding these kinds of ingredients, so far down the list, doesn't contribute much nutrition but does increase the expense.
But, all in all, a high-quality food.
