Our cat went through months of chronic cystitis and was in and out of tow different vet clinics. We finally found a wonderful vet who flushed him out and recommended a diet of prescription c/d for him for life. He not only loves it, but so do his siblings. He's been on it for a year now and has been healthy and symptom-free. You do have to purchase it from a vet or other approved location but if you have a kitty with cystitis it's completely worth the trouble.
