Vet diet for cat reduced kidney function

Canned food for cat with decreased kidney function (often senior cats). Can be used if cat prefers canned over dry or as a supplement to dry food. Comes in regular or chicken formula. Chicken preferred but probably depends on cat. One cat didn't like at all (I assume because of ground instead of pieces texture) but would eat dry version. Helps maintain kidney function and can work for longterm use. Purchase at vet (not grocery or pet food store) and is expensive.
