Texas is offering an animal-friendly license plate for light trucks and cars. Sales of these plates will contribute to a Texas wide program that will provide grants to shelters for low-cost spay or neuter.
The fee for these plates is $30 in addition to the regular vehicle registration fee. $22 of the fee will be credited to an animal-friendly account and $8 will be applied to the state for administrative costs.
The success of this program is in the hands of all TEXANS!! So, help spread the word and save the lives of animals across our great state.
