I have a 6 foot fence and it is great for my Bassett Hound. We can just let him out in the yard, and he enjoys sitting outside in the yard. The cats on the other hand are impossible to keep in the yard, even with the fence. I the cats out one at a time for some fresh air, but I have to watch them constantly because otherwise, they will climb the fence and leave the yard. There is no fence high enough to keep my cats in my yard.
