I can't say anything bad about any of the books written by Yorkshire vet, James Herriot. The stories are all wonderful, funny, sad, heartwarming. I love the way he writes; he has the ability to draw you right in and make you picture the scene. His books are appropriate for any age and worth a second and third read.
