James Herroit has a talent for writing about the animal patients in his veternarian practice in a way that makes you feel that you truly know the animals and their owners and the emotions that they are dealing with in happy and sad times. This is the third book he wrote and each one just keeps getting better. They would be great reading for any young person who has a calling to become a veternarian.
