I remember the first time I read this book. There were places that I laughed out loud, uncontrollably. And there were times when I cried. It is such a touching book, filled with wonderful characters: Siegfried, Tristan, Mrs. Hale, plus all of the clients from their vet practice. It's a perfect book for a broad range of ages.
