I love this book about a mutt named "Zak"

We've had this book in our household for many years and have given several copies as gifts. It is just wonderfully written and appeals to all ages from children to adults and the pictures are especially nice if you are reading the book to a child. It is a short little book with a big message that becomes apparent at the end of the book .. everyone is special and unique even though we are all different. The title character "Zak" is a mixed breed dog who discovers that although he is not any particular breed he is indeed "one of a kind".
