I love to read about animals. This book is great because it has a good focus on 8 particular dogs. You get to know them almost as if you are reading a riveting novel full of character development. You end up rooting for them, of course.
The author does a good job of showing different stories and keeping a good pace without being superficial at all. Well written book.
