Review Details

The EFBC-FCC or cathouse is a great educational facility. School field trips are common, and even the adults often leave with a better understanding of how humans can live alongside the native predators, like mountain lions.

Keeping your pet safe from predators should be included with every pet sold, but we all know it isn't.

Home to breeding stocks of many species of felines this facility is world known for its viable genetic lines of leopard, fishing cat, and Pallas's cat.

Many small cat species are on display, so learning about such diverse cats can include, Serval, Caracal (My favorite), Siberian Lynx, Ocelot, Margay, Jaguarundi's, Bobcat, and others.

They also have a selection of large cats that are all very healthy. These include three sub-species of leopard, jaguars, mountain lion, and one tiger if you know where to look. At this writing they are trying to build a huge enclosure so they can begin participating in the effort to save the genetics of tigers. They hav come a long way toward completion, and they hope to have some tigers that are breeding stock within a year.
