A Tired Dog is a Happy Mom!
posted 2 years ago
Just wanted to let everyone know what a great time our mini Aussies
had at Camp Bow Wow this past week. It is difficult to tier these two
out, but they certainly slept well in the car and during the night!
The video cam allowed my husband to keep and eye on his favorite
family members as well. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and will
definitely return!
Pros: Dogs are very active
Cons: No Grooming Services

Pup's first weekend away
posted 2 years ago
I just picked my dog up from his first weekend stay at Camp Bow Wow and I am beyond pleased. My boyfriend and I found out last minute that we would be out of town this past weekend and our first concern was what to do with our pup, Alfred. I had heard of Camp Bow Wow so I called and scheduled an interview for Monday. In order to complete the interview you have to leave your dog there for at least 3 hours. Alfred was nervous and didn't want to play at first, but by the time we got home and fired up the web cams we could see him running around and enjoying the outdoor area. When we picked him up that night he was happy and exhausted. I've never seen him so tired! After that we booked his weekend stay and although I was concerned about the last minute nature of our reservation they had no problem accommodating him.
Early Friday morning we dropped him off and this time he was excited to go back and play. This was the first time we had left him alone with anyone but a relative so I was a bit nervous, but Camp Bow Wow was great. Being able to check in and see him playing happily on the web cams was a huge stress reliever. I even called on a day I had no internet access and asked how he was doing and the camp counselor that answered was extremely nice, knew my dog by name, and gave me an update on what he was doing at that moment.
The price is great. I paid $135 for 3 nights and 4 days. Picking him up was fast and easy. Alfred was definitely excited to see us, but didn't bound out or anything. I think part of him was a little sad to be leaving camp!
Everything about Camp Bow Wow is great. The staff is extremely helpful and you can tell they really care about the dogs. Alfred came home happy and healthy. What more can a pet parent ask for? We will definitely be bringing Alfred back to camp in the future.
Pros: great staff, comfortable facilities, webcams
Cons: none!
