Review Details
I used this on parakeets and cockatiels that we have in a large walk-in aviary. Some had mites and scaley growth on the beaks (nose area) and on their legs. We applied this product and massaged it in and it worked great. It took a few weeks of daily use, but in the end it worked.
We also use pure mineral oil on some birds. We had a young cockatiel with deformed claws who benefited from the massage. We noticed that his claws would not open the right way and we often cold. Daily massages helped the circulation and by the time he was fully feathered his feet worked well enough that he could grip the perches and hold them open and flat. Without the therapy it is possible that he would have been lame. The mineral oil was used in the therapy. I believe there are benefits from just the massage itself.
I recommend this product and suggest that you keep up using it and don't give up or get lazy and it will give the results you need.
