I highly recommend this product

This little scissor has a notch rounded tip where you clip the nails and acts as a safety measure in it's use for clipping the wings.

I have used it exclusively for over 20 years for small birds. They are very durable and can be resharpened with a sharpening stone.

Medium to large birds need a stronger nail clipper and I use Miller Forge's Cat Claw Scissor for them. I use good tempered steel scissor with rounded tips to do the medium to large birds wings.

For the really large birds I use the dog nail clippers and tempered steel scissor with rounded tips.

Be sure to have a good blood stopping powder handy in case you hit the quick.
