I invested in this fantastic book when I decided to expand my family. I fell in love with some cats and I had to adopt them. How to cope with a blended family? I had three older cats who were siblings and who were homeless kittens--a decade ago. Now I wanted to bring in older cats too.
How to keep everyone happy and harmonious? I believe that being informed in advance is crucial. Last summer when I debated adopting my Zoey from Cat Welfare of COlumbus, OH I did some preparation in advance.
I read this book which was the single best thing I could do.
The tips, techniques, information and explanations helped to make things go as smoothly as possible. And just 5 weeks later I brought home Mrs. Palmer for another smooth blending into the menagerie.
THis work was tops in my arsenal of planning.
