My wife HATES cats, I love them well all critters. she says that there is no way not one, that we will ever get a pet. and for the time beging she is right, we live in an appartment so we can't get one, but how can i convince her to not hate cats?

Everytime I try to run the vacuum cleaner she attacks it and barks her head off. Any time she barks I tell her no bark and she usually shuts up except for the vacuum cleaner. Any suggestions?
