Is it really okay to put Tenactin on a cat knowing she'll lick it off or is an e-collar a must? A vet recommended this for her ringworm in place of sulphur dips, but I don't want to permanently e-collar her until it clears up.

My 6 month old chihuahua has a skin infection and the vet put her on an antibiotic and a antibacterial shampoo. I also have 3 other dogs and I was wondering if they could get the same infection? I was looking at pictures and it looks like pyoderma.
