WHY BAN PITBULLS AND THERE LOOKALIKES

If we allow one breed to be banned then before you know it more will follow this is wrong & racisit in my opinion. I dont own a pit but i do own a rott & just having him in the amanas I had to fight my insurance company because they are considered vicious, if we start to say what type of dog is allowed here & which one is not then is this America we live in home a free, when they start to take our rights away over bad media,rap videos, & stupid owners, when does it stop. I dont believe in vicious breed only bad owners, dogs learn what we teach them, so how can we fault these dogs when they are taught to fight?

Luckily this was defeated 18-1. I own 2 rescue pit bulls and they are the best dogs ever. These are my first pit bulls and I am hooked! They are the biggest babies ever. They are both male and we have no problems. I also have a female mixed breed who is the boss of them both. We have cats and horses and the dogs have never been aggressive towards either. Just look at the Michael Vick dogs, all but 4 were able to be rehabilitated and adopted. One, Leo, is even an award winning certified therepy dog. Go to www.ourpack.org for info. The Breed ban is so Horrible i think in a way it is basically racist it like banning a certin race from a statei mean yeah its happened but we have come past that people with pit and other bully breeds just need to be more responsible

I signed the petition. I find it hard to fathom that someone could be so ignorant of the facts about these dogs amd succumb to media hysteria and bias. Those who wish to do such things can cite chapter and verse, thanks to media outlets, every pit bull attack in the US, but how many know about the cocker attack that left a woman severely mauled in Brooksville Fl, which didn't make the news outside of Hernando county. Had it been a pit the world would have known.

I am very against BSL-I feel it's as bad as racism in humans! My favorite breed is the Pit Bull Terrier & I'm sick of dogs getting the blame when it's the owners most of the time!

Went to the site and signed. Did you know that the number one biters are German Shepards then Chows and third is Goldens. If we get rid of all the Bully breeds then I quess they will want to get rid of the next and so on. Where will it end. So even people who don't care about pits should sign or their breed will be next if these idiot lawmakers get their way.
