When will a dog be considered full grown?

Everyone says, "wow, your dog is going to be big cause she has large paws!" She is a Greyhound/Pitt/Lab/German Shepard Mix.
Do dogs grow at different rates & when are they supposed to be full grown? I am curious just how big my 3month old pup will get.

Two years for larger breed dogs....sometimes dogs "fill out" through their fourth year (width in chest not usually height). You have a mix that is mostly large wide breeds, so yes you will have big dog, more to love right? I adopted a rotti at about 10months old he weighed 63 pounds....at his full size (he is now 8) he is 90, so after the first year it isn't like your dog will have the same growth rate and turn into a clifford, but he will continue to grow. ANd remember there is already inherit biased about "big" dogs, so please make sure to train her and have a well behaved/controlled big dog even two years from now, when she may be half your size!

Large breed dogs don't fully mature until they are 2 years old. Small breeds mature quicker since not as much bone growing involved. Coming into heat doesn't make a dog mature anymore than a 13 year old girl having her first cycle.

Most breeds are usually sexualy mature around 6 months and full grown by a year. It's different for every dog though.

Usually by a year old they should have reached their full grown size. They will fill out more around the body, but they usually don't grow much taller. With a mix breed like yours with such a combination of breeds, you could get a full grown dog weighing 50-90 pounds. Being that she is female, she probably would be around the 50-70 pound mark, but thats not to say she won't get bigger. Males tend to be larger than females. Alot depends which dominating breed in her controls her size. I would say she will end up being a med-large size dog. Enjoy her while she's small, it won't last long.

About a year for those breeds - and a weight of 60 to 80 lbs is probably what you will end up with. Up to 100 would not be out of range though.

usually by 6 months old the dog is pretty much full grown now they will grow a bit but you can usually tell there size by that age... sometimes u can judge by a combination of looking at their paws and the amount of extra skin they have as a puppy but if you know the breeds that will help you judge a little better.. with those breeds she will probably be med size 50-60 pounds

Well one thing is, is that Dogs don't grow by their paws. They grow by their wists. The breeds you dog is mixed with are Medium-to large size but usually around 1 year for those size dogs they will be full grown. It is not true that 6 months is half the weight your dog will be. It really depends on the dog and its breed. its hard to tell with such a mixed dog. Maybe around 50-60 pounds. but i'm not sure.
