What is your favorite breed of dog?

My favorite breed of dog is probably a boxer being that I have one of them right now. I also love Rott's owned 2 of those.

For the right person, a Doberman!! They are beautiful, powerful, sleek, smart, loyal, cuddly, protective, athletic. Need I say more. Yes, they do need the "right" owner. Some one who is will to train them and show them the guidance they need to be a great house dog and a good neighbor.

I like all of the small scruffy terriers, but my favorite breed is the Brussels griffon! They are incredibly smart and soooo cute. They also have very good temperaments and are such fun dogs to have around! I foster for National Brussels Griffon Rescue and have just loved every griff I have had at my home. I wish I could keep them all!

I personally like Chinese Shar Peis. They do have health issues, but they are great pets. There are many rumors saying that hey are mean dogs, but they aren't. I have had shar peis since I was around 10 years old and they have been very sweet and loving. Not to mention, their purple tongues are totally cool!

Our family bought our first dog 18 months ago. He is a papillon and we love him even though he is big for his breed! He is very intelligent and loving, and he doesn't bark incessantly.
