Shelter cats, of course! But seriously, I think tabbies have got to be the most loving. I love to snuggle with a cat but unfortunately my cats don't do it much as they are not tabbies. They're muts and wonderful!

Any cat that is in a shelter! They need a deserve a good home, and will be as loving or more so than any purebreed.

Ragdolls, although the one I have isn't particulary snuggly, but he does follow me around like a puppy dog; just doesn't like to be held. The are a beautiful cat, and have very docile personalities. Cannot be allowed outside or they will surely end up in trouble

I like domestic shorthairs, at least as pets. My latest kittens grew long hair, however.

I've only had one cat in my lifetime and he was a beautiful Tabby with Persian in him, long hair, and a flowing long tail...he was a beauty. So I'm a Tabby fan.

Any cat that is mushy and people oriented. There are lots out there. From experience I can say Maine Coons, Cornish Rex, and Orientals all fit that bill. I also prefer males.

No favorite breed, just favorite personality. We have a flame point siamese mix and he is the sweetest cat ever. We adopted him at 6 months old but I think his temperament has less to do with breed (except for being very vocal), then with the way he was raised.
