What is better to feed cats? A lot of people tell me to stick with dry food but I was wondering what everyone else does...

I start my cat's day off with a good dry cat food like Purina One because she needs good nutrition and the dry food is good for her teeth. As a special treat, I give her a small amount of Fancy Feast wet food. She loves it.

we give my cat and our dogs wet food on top of their dry food. one poutch divided between the three of them. It gives them all a little fun with their meal!

I think its important to offer both to your cat as a means of a balanced, healthy diet. I give my cats wet and dry food. Dry helps their teeth, and wet tends to have more meat which they need. Plus, with the wet food I get different flavors so they don't get bored with their food. Imagine eating the same little kibble EVERY day of your life! Ick!!

I believe that ARKstaff is right on this one. New studies show that it is important to have some wet food in a cat's diet. Cat's often don't drink enough which can lead to kidney problems. This can sometimes be averted by the extra moisture provided in wet food. I free feed my cats dry food but make it a point to give them a plate of wet food every morning as well.

Definitely DRY. Wet food is ok once in a while for a treat.
