Do you know who you are voting for yet? Why did you decide on that shelter?

I see you are very active on here, I'm not the best at putting into words why you should vote for the Humane Society of the Nature Coast Brooksville FL but I believe in them and what they can achieve thru this contest.

While I was moved by watching all of the videos, I will vote for the Jefferson County SPCA, of Watertown, NY. It is my home SPCA and I believe we are in great need for the makeover. We are also the only shelter to make the top twenty and top ten in the zootoo.com shelter makeover for two years in a row. We have worked really hard. While all shelters deserve the chance to win a makeover, we believe our need is greatest based in our demand. Good luck to all the competing shelters!

I spent yesterday and this morning watching the videos and looking at the pictures. I'm emotionally drained! How do you pick one over the other? All have the same goal in mind. For those of us whose shelter is not in the running, we will have to pick which one hits that special spot in our heart. Well, I have chosen and will be ready to start voting when I get home from work tomorrow. My only concern is, do I really have to have a profile picture of me and my pet to vote? My wrist is "me" and the tatoo is representative of all my pets.

All of the top 10 deserve the makeover, and I will be happy for whoever wins. But, the reason I support the Central Missouri Humane Society (CMHS) is that I have seen the terrible building these dedicated people work out of and what individual attention they manage to give the animals, in spite of the numbers that pass through their doors (7,500 a year is what I believe I heard quoted). If you look at a map of Missouri and cut around the edges off like you would a pizza crust, the entire middle that's left is CMHS territory. Missouri is the puppy mill capital of the country, and CMHS carries the main responsibility for taking the dogs when one is shut down. They offer inexpensive spay/neuter services to help what is predominantly a rural area that has a serious overpopulation of dogs and cats. And...they constantly live under the threat of having to close their doors, which would leave over 7,000 animals a year to roam mid-MO. Anyway, that's why I'm voting for CMHS. They work miracles for so many animals.

My local shelter made it to the top ten! I will vote for them. Butte Humane Society. The only one in the west coast that made the final ten.

I would have to say The Humane Society Of The Nature Coast I think they could all use it but that's the one I like. But I'm sure you'll find the one you should go with.Take care.

I have come to a pretty sound decision in my mind and in my heart. After reading a few things over the last few days, HSBC is getting my vote.
It was a hard decision as I know that all the shelters could use a makeover for whatever reason. But, there was just something that tugged at my heart with the shelter I decided to vote for.
I will say good luck to all the contenders though! Happy Easter!

My shelter is in the top ten. I did review the videos of the other shelters and it reconfirmed that I'll be voting for Liberty Humane Shelter. I think that all ten are worthy of the makeover and can see where someone could struggle in trying to decide. Just review the videos and pics posted of each shelter and you'll make the right decision.
