I swear my dog snores louder than any man I have ever known. He literally makes the pillows move. Is there anything that can be done?

Yes, kick him out of bed and make him sleep in the guest room or on the couch in the playroom, in the basement! What an inconsiderate dog.

My Border Collie's been snoring since I adopted him. However, my 12 year old Greyhound only just started snoring in the past year. The vet checked her out and didn't think there were any problems. Check with your vet.

I call Jack Arnold the pig. We think it is just part of his personality.

Ask your vet for the name of an antihistamine/allergy medication. This may help.

Our rottie does this but it is for awhile then stops. Try a round dog bed, so he will curl up when sleeping. is he overweight that can be why, nasal congestion? allergies, we turn on a fan & he usually relaxes w/ that on, but my husband is a loud snorer too so it helps that lol...

My Rottie does this. And besides just the freight train usual, she also throws in a bark or growl or two while she's having a dream. Since the vet says she has nothing physically wrong, I've tried to figure out what to do to help. The only thing that seems to make it a LITTLE better is a vaporizer or room humidifier.
If someone invents "breathe-right" strips for dogs, please let me know!
