She is spoiled rotten and she has this huge cage (24 sq. ft and two bunny size stories) so she is very happy just playing in there, but I want to see her and she does need exercise sometimes. When i go to take her out she runs away or grunts and pushes me away with her paws, but i know she likes me because once she is out she will run right to me for a head scratch if she wants to.

my rabbit grunts at me too. if he runs away i usually shake his treat bag and he comes running back and lets me pick him up and pet him. then of course i give him a treat. but now that i have run out he usually comes up to the cage when i enter the room.

sometimes when reabbits grunt or paw at you, they want to play. what is the grunt like? low and long? high pitched and short?? try just petting her a little at a time and spending more time with her.

Maybe you can take her along with your Step Mom's dog to obedient class. lol!
Seriously, what actual problems are you having with her?
Most bunnies that I've dealt with are actually very sociable little bunnies, and love attention.
What is causing "attitude"? Is she nipping, doing bad behaviors,or not wanting to interact with you? The more info, the easier to help you.
