I have a bichon who only likes his AKC rabbit. we've tried Kongs and everything. When we take him to the pet store, he seems uninterested in everything. Not tennisballs, not pull ropes, not even those REALLY popular plush loofa wienerdog toys. What should I do.

Buy many different type of toys. Bring them home and put them on a pair of used socks or in bad with you to get your smell on them. You also need to "activate" the toys by interacting with your dog with the toy. Moving it around and making noises to get your pup interested in the toy.

Puting peanut butter, canned food or other smelly food treat on or in the toy may encourage your pup tro show some interest also.

Good luck and don't give up!!

My puppy only likes the softer, almost like the velure ones. Did you stuff things in the Kong?

If your dog doesn't like those kind of toys, try toys with flavors like beef bones and greenies. Some products will last as long as a regular toy will. They also have beef and mint flavored ropes.
