Zeus my 13 year old is having problems with his back legs. The vet prescribed Dasaquin and I dont believe it has worked. We did the 6 wk trial then moved him to one pill daily. He is still weak. I am going to try a new supplment called Joint Max triple strength. Has anyone tried this and what was the results? Any advice is appreciated. Please know he has been to the vet., and doesnt have anything but hip dysplasia and Dasaquin was prescribed.

Do you have access to a vet that performs acupuncture? One of my dogs, in her later years, did receive alot of relief from it.

Have you thought of trying any of the herbal remedies? I know glucosamine & chondrotin works with people. I know you can find them online at puritanspride.com and drfostersmith.com.
