How often do you walk your dog and how far or for how long?

I feel guilty about walking my dogs. I try to get them out once a day for a mile walk each but they probably get out only 5 times a week. I really feel like they should get out twice a day, but that's rare.

Don't feel bad. Every dog is different and their needs are different as well. I probably walk more in the nicer weather but I make up for it with more retrieve games. Give him lots of mental stimulation as well.

Don't feel so bad; I do the same thing. I'm definitely not a morning person, so I've never been able to walk my dog in the morning. I take her for about an hour walk in the evening, but there are days when the weather is crummy or I'm really tired or busy, so we end up taking about 5 walks a week too. Crystal is not a high energy dog, so luckily I don't have to wear her out for her to be calm indoors.
