The old pet owner of our two Guinea Pigs said to give them baths maybe once a week. HOW?

they don't need bathed every week. that is going to strip their skin and be more trouble than it's worth and expose them to illnesses from drafts or stress. if they are DIRTY then wash them. If they have pee stains on their bum, yes wash them. They are constantly bathing themselves with a milky grooming fluid that comes from their tear ducts

you don't need to bath a g pig once a week,if you keep their cage clean theres no need to bath them,i only bath mine once or twice in the summer, you have to be very careful if they catch a chill they can get a cold very easy and a cold in a g pig can be deadly
