How can I vote for the St. Tammany Humane Society to win the makeover?

I recently had to have my little Maltese put down due to cancer. I elected to go to the above facility because the money goes to help the animals there. The respect shown for me and my Maggie was outstanding. We were given private time in a very clean warm and comfortable room not at all scary to Maggie. The Dr. and an assistant came in and gave Maggie a shot for pain and to put her to sleep. After she and I were given private time again while she fell asleep. Then the shot into the vein was given-Maggie felt nothing. After, I was again allowed to have private time with my darling little girl. I can't thank the center enough for how the most difficult situation was handled.

i have used this shelter and the services at st. tammany for about 10 years. if you put in st tammany humane society for your shelter on your home page all your points will go to that shelter. if it is not listed on your home page you can add it by clicking on the link to the right of your pic. the zip code for st. tammany humane society is 70433. please help them get as many points as you can.

Saint Tammany is in the Top 5, and may be in first place now. To have your points that are earned during the Shelter Makeover applied to them, they only need to be your shelter on your profile page. If it is already on the page saying St. Tammany, then you just go ahead and all of your points will transfer daily. If not, contact zootoo and they can change it for you. It is good to hear your story of how they helped you and Maggie. I recommend that you write it as a journal. That way others can hear of the good works being done there, and you can earn 15 points for them! Good Luck! And my sincere sympathies on the loss of Maggie.
It's not a daily vote like at the rescue site. ZooToo wants you to spend a lot of time doing the varies things it assigns points for. You can only earn a certain number of points each day. You have to get different people to do the same thing for your shelter to even have a chance at your shelter being considered. You have to get the shelter you support into the top 20 of the points system for them to be evaluated and considered to win something.
If your shelter is in a small community or a community without high speed internet access, it won't likely make it into the top 20. On your profile page click on the "learn more about your status" link near the fishbowl to see how to earn points each day.
