I'm wondering if it would somehow harm either the turtle or the turtles "cycle" if it were to be woken up during hibernation?

No. It can cause mild stress, but no serious harm. Torts dont even need to brumate. This is only needed if the tort must endure low temps. If you have artificial heat and lights, brumation is not necessary.

I agree. When an animal goes into hibernation it's entire circulation within the body slows including metabolism, cardiovascualar system etc. It would not be healthy to wake the turtle all of a sudden. I would definately call your local vet.

It wouldnt kill the tortoise but would definately upset and stress the tortoise. Could cause some health issues.Definately check with your vet before doing this!

You have to ask a Vet, but I think when an animal hibernates it's whole metabolism slows down, if that is the case it could kill it. Why do you want to wake it up??? Nature knows what it's doing.

Hmm not serious damage im pretty sure, they wont really wake up and do stuff cause its too cold and they need to keep their body heat in.
