Has anyone tried or know someone who's tried the PediPaws Nail Trimmer?

I don't see a review on it yet but I was wondering if anyone has info on the PediPaws Nail Trimmer. Just curious to how well it works and if it is noisy. Ever since I clipped to short one time, I hate using the clippers and I think they sense my nervousness. Buddy needs something for between trips to the groomer since he doesn't need to go as often as the others.

Thanks for this question.

I too was wondering about this nail trimmer. The commercial makes you think you are hurting your animal if you DON'T use PediPaws Nail Trimmer. I was thinking of ordering it, but thought it might be all hype. As Sue G. said here in Answers, I doubt my cat would still still long enough...and then there is also the noise.

I will stay with my small nail cutter made for cats. It was worked for me...and my cats...for years. My cats cooperate...I talk...sing-song :):)... to them as I am clipping...then a treat. I have found this is fast and so easy. If a clipped nails is not all clean-cut, the cat takes care of the "filing" on her scratch pad. TY kitty.

Just received my pedi paws yesteday! Two of my four pugs had no problem with it, and yes it does work well. My two boys were not too cooperative, so I'll give them a few days. My only concern is, having four dogs, the emery filing heads won't last too long. The company had a huge back order, and it took almost 3 months to receive my order.

My friend has the Dremel with attachments. The chihuahua is a-ok with it, but the puggle is terrified!I think time and treats will help all dogs like it! Definitely beats having nails split with the trimmer.

We have the Peticure and love it, love it, love it! As far as the noise, when we first got it, I did not even turn it on, just let the "kids" smell it and I touched their nails with it just to get them used to it. Then when they got used to that, I turned it on, and just let them look at it and get used to the noise, slow at first, then faster and louder. Now, they ( dog and cat) just lounge about while I happily file away!

My link to the PediPaws review didn't work so just go to the zootoo product area and search for "pedi paws" (two words)

Yes we used them and they worked well. However you can not buy the cheep one, we got the next level up. With cats it takes some getting used to the sound. With dogs it was fine.

I think they drug the animals in the commercial. No animal that I know of will sit still for this. My friend got one and didn't get close to the nails with it.
