Getting Cat Urine out!

Try using Nature's Miracle for laundry. It has worked for me with puppy accidents. i understand it also works great for cat urine.

lily is correct there are also enzymes you can get at a pet store for carpets but i don't know if ou can use them in laundry.. ou could try some vinigar in your wash water. but that maybe doubtful

try baking soda it gets most odors out,i use it for my guinea pigs fleece,it always makes the fleece smell fresh,

vinegar is probably the best suggestion yet. when dealing with cat urine, it's best to fight it with an acid, as cat urine tends to be basic. vinegar is an acidic but mild and natural cleaner. ammonia or any other basic cleaner is a definite no-no. there are various non-chlorine bleaches that clean with hydrogen peroxide (oxygen), which couldn't hurt. also, it couldn't hurt to toss some borax into the mix, and enzymatics are always worth a shot. and though i've never tried them, antimicrobial laundry detergents (non-bleach) do exist and might help. but me in your position, adding a good amount of white vinegar to the wash is where i'd start. it may take a few tries too.

on a related note...if you go away for the weekend regularly, or even if you don't, it might be worth investing in an automatic litter box.

I would try some bleach for colored clothing and a little baking soda. If that doesn't work...well I don't think much of anything is going to.

Had the same thing happen to me and I was going nuts thinking I would never get the smell out. I actually just used 2 scoops of Oxi clean with my laundry soap and it worked great. Never smelled it again, thank goodness!

natures miracle!!!!!!!!!!!! It works great in he machine or directly onto the carpet etc. I worked in a laundrymat/ drycleaners and we also used that product with great sucess !!you should try it im sure you'll agree.
