Do you consider your horse livestock or a pet?

I was recently in a conversation with someone and the topic came about how to classify horses. I am sure the dictionary says they are "livestock", but I definitely would not consider something I have formed such a great bond with as livestock. What do you think?

I don't consider horses to be livestock when they are not going to be eaten.

Technically livestock, but realistically, in most cases pets. In veterinary medicine, they are considered to be COMPANION ANIMALS.
