Dose anyone know what toads hen they are born, like if they are tadpols like frogs?

I just remembered reading an article some time back about the Golden Coqui(Eleutherodactylus jasperi) Frog,and the article stating that Coquies do not lay their eggs on water, but are carried by the mother until the birth of the young, and also the fact that
The Golden Coqui is the only frog species in the New World known to give birth to live young.
I guess technically it was a tadpole. I have to admit that I didn't consider that part,I was just trying to remember who gave birth to live froglets. lol

All amphibians ARE tapoles, yes. You can find tadpoles of frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, ets. The few that do seem to be "born" as frogs actually just go through part of that metamorphosis in the egg. But not all eggs are in water. Some weird species are actually layed in jelly nests in TREES above ponds, or in clumps of wet moss. Crazy, eh? But most just start life in water.

In general,most frogs that we see around, do start out as tadpoles,but there are a few species that are born as little frogs from the start.
Not all frogs/Toads lay their eggs in ponds.Some species will actually find moist places on land such as wet leaves,little puddles etc.,and lay their eggs there until they hatch..
