do pets go to heaven?

Yes, I do think they go to Heaven. One day I will be reunited with the ones I have lost. I believe that animals are a gift from God. They enrich our lives and were put here for a reason. We were all put here for a reason. This may sound strange but when I had to have my dog euthanized because of cancer I felt her spirit leave this world. I also felt this warmth of a hand on my shoulder as she passed. It was so peaceful. I believe she left Jesus and that we are all united when the time comes.

I believe they do go to heaven. Animals are like little angels in our life. When they die they deserve to go to heaven.

There has to be, or they couldn't call it Heaven.

Well, you asked so here's my thought. Yes I believe that animals go to heaven and I have found where it says it in the Bible. When my first dog died I was randomly going throught the bible looking for something to help me through and I just happened to find this passage. I don't believe it was coincidence either. You can find it in Psalms 36; 5-6 "Thy steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens. Thy faithfulness to the clouds. Thy righteosness is like the mountains oh God. Thy judgements are like the great deep: man and beast thou savest O Lord." Anyway, that last sentence said it all for me. It seemed quite clear from that, that all God's creatures go to heaven.

I believe everything returns to the Creator, and everything includes animals. I love that God created a spot for every animal on the arc.

I hope so, but I don't think so. I think like debo2 said, that this is heaven to them, and earth to us. But I do hope that they get to go to heaven too.
