It could be her breath from her teeth old and rotting?

What area does the smell seem to be originating from?
If its the ears, she may have an ear infection.
If its toward her back end, she could have impacted anal glands and they NEED to be expressed. Your groomer, vet, technician, or even you can do it yourself. However, I DO NOT recommend to attempt doing it yourself if you have not been shown how to properly express an anal gland.
Is it her breath? Poor dental hygiene can lead to tooth decay and/or gingivitis, and along with gingivitis comes very bad breath.
If its an all-over smell, it could be a myriad of skin problems - yeast infection is one that springs to mind.
How frequently do you bathe her? I don't recommend bathing more than once a month because it can dry out their skin and add to the problems.
When in doubt, see a vet! And just remember, just because you don't *see* something does not mean there isn't a problem. You vet or groomer may be able to point you in the right direction.

Could be a skin problem or her breath due to her teeth or a toxin in her blood that is being released in her breath like kidney problems. A visit to the vet may tell you.
