Does your furry friend have a "safe haven"?

Our girls both have hiding spots that they go to when they get afraid, like during thunderstorms or other scary noises. They both like under the bed, but Anna also likes our closet, which has a doggy bed in it.

Where does your friend find comfort when he/she gets concerned, stressed, or afraid?

During thunderstorms my cat lays between the toilet and sink. I think she goes in there because there are no windows. When I run the sweeper, she runs to the basement.

Oh, and we have yet to figure out where kitty goes during storms. Very elusive, is he.

Chester is only afraid of large trucks when we walk. Garbage trucks are the worst...and they seem to stalk us when we walk, in his puppy eyes!
When they are around or pass us, his safety spot is so close to my leg, there is no way for me to take a step without either stepping on him, or pulling muscle trying to step over him!

My mom's dog recently decided that she likes to hide in my mom's closet. She will sit at my mom's bedroom door during the storm until someone opens the door.
