I was talking to some friends at work, and a few say that their dogs sleep with them and a few dont. Does your dog sleep in bed with you?

Both my dogs, a Yorkie and a chihuahua, sleep with me.
They can be playing or lying on the floor while I am watching TV; when I say ready to go to bed.
They are right with me.

I love my dog but I need my own space at night. He actually likes to sleep in his crate ..... it's his safe get away and relax place.

Absolutely not! I live with enough dog hair during the day :)

Nope. My husband and I need that time alone. The dogs are on the couch with us during movie time and go with us on most outings. Also, both of us have bad knees and backs, so we just can't have our sleep disturbed by a twitching dog.

Heck no...we live in the country and our two German Shepherds have a job to do, guard us while we sleep. They can't do that very well if curled up in bed with us...plus, our bed is a private place for my wife and myself. It's our escape and our own playpen, I am not sharing it with anyone even if they do have four legs.

our baby boy has to have what we call people bed time. he gets up in the bed with us for about 15min. when he is sleepping really good we pat him and tell him he needs to go to his bed. he then gets up and goes to his dog bed and will sleep there all night. if he doesn't get his people bed time he will try to jump in the bed with us all night long.he is about 80 something pounds not much room in the bed for himand us.
