My kittem is 3 months old and has so much energy. He also like to growl and hiss, occasionally he will bite you. I took him to vet and they are suggesting neutering him. He tried to bite the vet tech, so she musseled him. Kitty was mad today.

Yes! Having a cat neutered or spayed will usually result in a calmer temperament because they will not experience the natural mating instincts. Also, it is best for the cat's health! Neutering male cats reduces the incidence of prostate cancer and neutered animals are less likely to roam and fight. There will also be less chance of spraying to mark territory.

YES NEUTERING OR SPAYING USUALLY WILL HELP.
