Someone is looking for a rehabilitation center for pit bulls to help train them not to bite and was asking if I knew of any in or around the New Jersey area.

I am going to assume that your referring to play biting. What was taught to us in training classes it to yip or yell saying "OW". This will startle them and alert them its not a wanted behaviour.

It depends upon what type of "biting" your dog is doing. Is it a puppy doing puppy mouthing, is it going after someone in a play mode and getting rambunctious or is it going after someone in an aggressive mode and biting them?

You can contact a pit bill rescue for advice or contact the local SPCA or humane society. They can be a good source for help, also some have classes for training.
