They sell kitten formula in pet stores now or you can call your vet and they will tell you.

No, but if I run across one I'll let you know.

Like everyone says it's easy to get. I remember years ago (30) you had to make it up with canned milk, egg yolk and Karo syrup. I'm sure it didn't have what kitten formula has, but it was all we had.

There is no substitute for mother's milk or formulated kitten milk. Recipes that you make at home are not nutritionally balanced for the needs of a growing kitten. Most Walmarts and some 24 hour drug stores will carry some milk replacer if you happen to stumble on an orphaned after your vet or pet store closes.
A great reference book for you would be KITTENS for DUMMIES by Dusty Rainbolt.

Hi Barb.Do you happen to be dealing with this right now?
The very best replacement formula would be the KMR or just born,as they really do have the closest ingredients to balance the kitten's diet.
You can check out this Web site,as they have a few ideas for emergency kitten formulas, although they should only be used as an emergency feeding until you can get the proper food.
I've tried many of the Homemade formulas while taking care of ferals, and really stick to the store bought ones as soon as I can get them.I just feel safer about it all.
I hope that this helps a bit & Good luck if you're dealing with actual babies!
