Does anyone have any suggestions for sturdy dog toys

My dog Annie is able to destroy any toy within a couple of hours and she will not give up until she does. I have tried avery toy possible. She will pick at it with her teeth until she rips the stuffing out. She loves to get a new toy but I hate wasting money on them now.

I have a dog that does the same thing. The best toys to get them are kong toys with a tough exterior there very hard to shred. If she really likes ripping up the toys go to the dollar store and get the cheap stuffed toys and let her rip them up for fun.

I through trial and error have found that the best ones are the vinyl balls that you can buy at Petco or Petsmart. They have stuffing and a squeaker, but the seem to last my dog a month or longer. Good Luck!

Kongs are great durable toys for dogs. Plus they have holes in them that you can put peanut butter or cheese spread in and your dog will be entertained for hours trying to get all the yummy peanut butter out. If you freeze it first it lasts even longer. This will also ditract her from the thought of ripping the toy apart, although in all my years working with animals I have never seen a dog rip up a Kong. Good Luck!

We just got a golden retriever a couple of years ago. She will destroy anything and everything she can get her jaws on. A lady at our local pet store suggested a toy, I am pretty sure the brand was Kong, but anyway, it is a rubber jack that she chews on all the time and has yet to destroy and she has had it for about a year now. We also have a heavy duty rope, like the kind you play tug of war with with your dog.

You may want to try the Nylabone plush toys, they are much sturdier than other plush toys. You can also try the skinezee, which looks like a plush toy, but doesn't have any stuffing, just a couple of squeakers.
